Five Things We Expect To See On The Real Housewives Of Abuja
Barely a year after the hit Showmax Original reality series The Real Housewives of Lagos launched, the second installment of the franchise in Nigeria, the Real Housewives of Abuja is set to hit the screens come February 17th.
As we countdown to the premiere day, here are a few things we look forward to:
- Meeting the ladies
If the cast of RHOLagos is anything to go by, we know Showmax has mastered the art of selecting the most exciting personalities and RHOAbuja will not be any different. We also expect to see an eclectic mix of the bougie, the good, and the crazy.
We’d love to know more about them, their work, careers, family, relationships, and even get a peek into their wardrobes.
- Luxury and wealth
Apart from being a city of power, the city’s residents are also known for their luxurious and ultra wealthy lifestyle. We expect to see the ladies go on trips in private jets, sipping champagne with caviar, and dressed to the nines in designer clothes. We also expect to get an all-access pass to some of the most exclusive places and events via the ladies.
The plan is to live vicariously through them.
One of the key ingredients of the Real Housewives franchise is the existing friendships between some of the ladies and the birth of new ones. We’d like to see if their friendships will stand the test of the show.
Will we have a repeat of the Toyin and Laura situation? Chioma and Caroline? Or even the most unexpected ones like Iyabo and Chioma? We’ll keep our fingers crossed.
- Drama and Controversy
The Real Housewives is synonymous with drama and we’ll like to see the Abuja version of it. We want all the tea and gossip. From conflicts between the housewives themselves to issues within their families, fans can expect to see some explosive moments on the show.
- The Parties
No one throws a party better than a real housewife. An invite to one of their parties means access to unlimited champagne, the best cuisine, and meeting high networth individuals. There is also the drama that happens at these parties. We’lll just keep our fingers crossed and wait for it all.
Overall, The Real Housewives of Abuja promises to be an exciting addition to the franchise, offering a glimpse into the lives of affluent women living in one of Africa’s most vibrant cities. Fans can expect to be entertained from start to finish.
