debunked the rumour about the authenticity of the governorship candidate of the party.

According to a statement by Engineer Akeem Olatunji,

Director of Public Communication, New Media and Tertiary Institutions

Senator Olufemi Lanlehin Campaign Organization (SOLANCO), “Our attention have been drawn to a wicked rumour claiming that our highly referred and respected National Vice Chairman of our great party, ADC, Dr Dele Ajadi, is the candidate of the party.

“This is far from truth and SONACO under our able Director General, Architect Bashiru Lawal, wishes to restate that Senator Olufemi Lanlehin is the governorship candidate of ADC in Oyo State.

“We want to assure our esteemed party members and the electorates that the blatant lies is from the pit of hell as Senator Lanlehin has fulfilled all necessary rights and procedures which confirms him as the gubernatorial candidate of ADC in Oyo State.

“Dr Dele Ajadi is part and parcel of Senator Olufemi Lanlehin campaign and he is contributing morally, financially and mentally to ensure that Lanlehin and other ADC candidates comes out victorious in the forthcoming general elections.

“All parties that made substitution after the primaries were conducted will have to wait until 17th of January before their candidates names are published by INEC and ADC gubernatorial candidate, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin cannot be different.

“Same thing is applicable to ZLP guber candidate, Barrister Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli, PDP Deputy gubernatorial candidate, Engr Olaniyan, and many other candidates from APC who replaced those that emerged from primary elections, their names are also missing but will be restored after 17th of January according to INEC guideline.

“Dr Ajadi has withdrew for Senator Lanlehin, Mr Waheed Akanbi withdrew for Barrister Sarafa Alli, Engr Seyi Makinde’s Personal Assistant, Alh Akeem Azeez withdrew for Engr Remi Olaniyan and non is published till date because INEC guideline only permitted the publication to be made 45 days to the general election which is 17th of January 2019.

“We at Senator Olufemi Lanlehin Campaign Organization (SOLANCO) are very much aware that our gubernatorial candidate, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin, is glaringly obvious that he is the most popular, acceptable and preferred candidate among all contestants and hence the desperation to malign him and spread fake news and information to dampen the morale of electorates who have resolved to elect him as next Oyo State governor”, the statement concluded.
