Gaza Conflict: Netanyahu Confronts France, Canada, UK Over Criticism
The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has disregarded warnings issued by France, Canada, and the United Kingdom (UK) against full military occupation of Gaza.
The UK’s Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, France’s President, Emmanuel Macron, and Canada’s Prime Minister, Mark Carney, in a joint statement on Monday, said they would resist any full military occupation of Gaza.
Their warning came after Netanyahu, on Sunday, announced that the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) would commence full Gaza occupation until Hamas releases all hostages of the October 7 attack.
Reacting to the threats from France, the UK, and Canada, Netanyahu stated that the leaders, by their joint statement, were offering a huge prize for the attack on Israel by Hamas.
Israeli Prime Minister said the war would end if Hamas downs their arms and releases all hostages.
Netanyahu added that France, Canada, and the UK cannot stop Israel from using all legitimate means to protect its territory and citizens.
It read: “By asking Israel to end a defensive war for our survival before Hamas terrorists on our border are destroyed and by demanding a Palestinian state, the leaders in London, Ottawa, and Paris are offering a huge prize for the genocidal attack on Israel on October 7 while inviting more such atrocities.

“The war began on October 7 when Palestinian terrorists stormed our borders, murdered 1,200 innocent people, and abducted over 250 more innocents to the dungeons of Gaza.
“Israel accepts President Trump’s vision and urges all European leaders to do the same. The war can end tomorrow if the remaining hostages are released, Hamas lays down its arms, its murderous leaders are exiled, and Gaza is demilitarized. No nation can be expected to accept anything less, and Israel certainly won’t.
“This is a war of civilization over barbarism. Israel will continue to defend itself by just means until total victory is achieved.”
