Governor Fashola Arrest Two Senior Military Officers on BRT Lane
I don’t know may be you have ever come across any armed forces on the road, the way they drive to get you off the road without escorting anybody one wonder what really their job. In the case where people who have the obligation and duties to protect one from any harassment and dangers on the road they are the one who’s driving carelessly.
Often time one imagine may be this people are under the law or not. But Lagos State Governor Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN) yesterday restate the rule of law that everybody is under the law and no one is above the law.
He arrested two senior military officers who plight the dedicated bus rapid transport (BRT) lane. He said everybody must obey the rules, laws and regulations in the state. According to him he said the armed forces in this country has shown and also gives us their word and commitment to protect lives and properties and also to protect our democracy.
He further stressed that the soldiers that he caught are bad example of the armed forces because that’s not what they represent. He continued by saying he who cannot live by the rules and law should leave the state.
But I hope this will serve as an example and warning to many others to live to their duties and obligations.
