

Unidentified armed men posing as operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have kidnapped 10 individuals from White Hill Hotel, located along Shiroro Road in Chanchaga Local Government Area of Niger State.
According to intelligence sources who spoke to Zagazola Makama, the incident occurred at approximately 4:58 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2025.
The armed men allegedly stormed the hotel, claiming to be on an official EFCC operation.
Reports indicate that the assailants disabled the hotel’s CCTV cameras before breaking into guests’ rooms one by one and forcibly abducting 10 people, whisking them away to an undisclosed location.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police, State Intelligence Department (Acpol SID), confirmed that an investigation is underway to identify those responsible and rescue the victims.
Authorities have urged the public to stay alert and report any suspicious activities, assuring that security efforts are being intensified to uncover the circumstances surrounding the attack.
