How To Apply For 2026 Nigerian Army Recruitment

The Nigerian Army has officially launched the online registration process for its 91st Regular Recruits Intake (91RRI), open to both skilled tradesmen and women as well as non-tradesmen and women.

The application portal will open on March 30, 2026, and close on May 17, 2026.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be single Nigerian citizens by birth;

Possess valid NIN and BVN (details must match);

Be medically, physically, and mentally fit;

Have no criminal record;

Possess at least 4 credits including English (max two sittings);

Trades applicants must have Trade Test/City & Guild certificates;

Be aged:

18–22 years (non-trades);

Not above 26 years (trades);

Minimum height:

1.68m (male);

1.65m (female);

Provide valid birth certificate and state of origin certificate.

Screening Process

Successful applicants will be invited for screening in their states of origin between June 9 and June 23, 2026.

Guarantor’s form.

Screening will include:

Physical fitness tests;

Medical examinations;

Document verification.
