How To Create Content That Retains Customers

In today’s ever changing world, excellent customer service is key to success in business. As a matter of fact, the customer experience people enjoyed when visiting your business will determine if they will return next time or not.
First, you need to know what your customers want then you know how to meet it. If you don’t know what they need you can’t meet them.
There’s a need to carry out assessment in order to ascertain what your customers want and the best way to meet their services, the dos and don’ts.
Personally for me, I don’t always look at what you sell or the services you offer but how you handled me as a customer, the experience I had with your services or products would determine if I will return next time or not. If it’s an online, the look and the feel of your site will also determine my return. If I had a bad experience, trust me I won’t return next time. You must create a website that will make people feel cool why using your products or services. If you have good products and services and it’s not readily accessible to customer, that’s a big problem.
I remember some months ago, I wanted to buy groceries in a shop near to my house, the owner is a bit abusive. She either tells you she doesn’t have this or that and gives you one excuses or the other. This has become of her character all the time, so I made up my mind never to enter her shop again and I never did till today. Why? Because of bad customer service.
Never put up the attitude of a boss before a customer, you won’t go far with it and you end up losing more customers every day. Treat your customers in a manner that will make them to return next time.
Fulfill your promises. So many business owners don’t fulfill whatever promise they make to their customers, even the ones written on their products and services. Don’t be one of them.
Reward your customers with incentives. You must find a way to reward your loyal customers no matter how small it is. It will make them feel the sense of belonging and they will protect your products and services as if they are the owner.
Let the customers know that you are accessible to them. Show your customers that you are available, willing and ready to help them whenever the needs arises. Your business should be open to meet the convenience needs of your customers at all time.
You must establish trust before your customers otherwise potential customers may jump to your competitor’s right in front of you and you can do anything about it. And such customer is gone and gone for good. Sometimes, he/she might not gone alone but go with someone else who is also your customer. So, let people trust you and your business. It’s very important.
Perception is key to a successful business: the reality is that people do judge a book by its cover. What do people perceive about your business? Whatever they perceived about your products and services will also determine how far your business can go.
Don’t take your customers for granted. Because they are using your products and services doesn’t mean they have no options. Trust me they do have many options before they decides to stick to your business, don’t take them for granted. Take their contact details. Say hello to them once in a while. Call, send them text messages and emails to them. Which them happy birthday, wedding anniversary etc. Identify with them turn them to your family. Organise a get together party for them. Sacrifice something from your end. It’s called CSR. These will go a long way in growing your business. Don’t make it win all the time.
Hire someone to help you see what you can’t see by yourself as owner but your customers can see them.
In conclusion, put smiles to the faces of your customers at all time this will make you to retain them for as long as you wish as the owner of the business.
