A heartwarming video making rounds on social media has shown a rare display of humility from a governor as Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State knelt to greet Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at a public event.
The birthday ceremony to mark the birthday of popular Pentecostal elder, Rev Uma Ukpai saw a demonstration of grace when Governor Umo Eno made a grand entrance into the venue that had several dignitaries including Pastor Enoch Adeboye already seated.
To the astonishment of many, Pastor Adeboye, seated at the front, attempted to stand and honour the governor’s presence.
In a swift and respectful gesture, the Akwa Ibom governor moved quickly to stop the revered cleric from standing, choosing instead to kneel before him as they exchanged pleasantries.
