“I Am a Man – Bobrisky Tells Judge

Popular crossdresser, Idris Okuneye also known as Bobrisky, has confirmed his gender in a court hearing on Friday amid naira abuse charges.
The cross-dresser was arraigned in court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on a four-count charge.
These charges involved damaging banknotes of the Naira currency, amounting to N490,000 (Four Hundred and Ninety Thousand Naira).
On Friday, the presiding judge, Abimbola Awogboro from the Federal High Court in Lagos, sentenced him to six months in prison without the option of a fine.
The judge’s decision aimed to serve as a warning to others who might engage in abusing or mutilating the Naira currency.
According to the report, Judge Awogboro, before announcing the sentence, inquired about Bobrisky’s gender, to which he quickly responded, “I am a man.”
