Hip Rap musician Elia who just released a single video titled ‘Who’s that’ says that she does not get embarrassed when people see her on the street and keep looking at her or when after performing on stage and people are chanting ‘sexy!sexy!!sexy!!’. She said that she actually feel good to be admired and happy to know that her performances so far have been well accepted by the audience. ‘beauty is a free gift from God and it must not get into anybody’s head, I am a normal home girl and it is even since I started active entertainment business that I started hearing this thing about me looking sexy, well its part of it, Nigerians are then in for a lot of sexytainment, because I am here to unleash myself’.
Elia’s video Directed by Sam Chuks Uba which is gaining huge airplay in various Television Stations and different music programs is said to have been shot in Lagos. Elia who many whom have seen her perform on stage nicknamed Shakira has said that She wants to be known only as Elia and not to be compared to anyone. She said good performance like she does on stage is what she has come to give to the music world and her performances are original ‘I am not Shakira, my look and beauty is from God and my stage dance is my creation, when I perform on stage, my duty is to entertain the audience and if they are saying that I am hot and a sexy dancer, then they bargained for it, that’s why they came for the show, to be well entertained, they have not seen anything yet.’
