I Have Enough Strikers -Stephen Keshi

Super Eagles boss, Stephen Keshi has confess that he might have issues in selecting  the strikers he would pick for the 2013 Africa Nations Cup in South Africa if his forward men maintain their current forms in their respective clubs.

“They are all firing on all cylinders now and though it is good for the team, it is not going to be easy picking the right combination for AFCON,” Keshi said.

According to him on the current form of Eagles forwards like Ike Uche, Obafemi Martins, Osaze Odemwingie, Victor Moses, Ahmed Musa, Brown Ideye, Emmanuel Emenike, Shola Ameobi and Bright Dike, the former Mali national team coach said he would only be guided by their forms in late December, coupled with their health conditions and adaptability to his philosophy of the game before making up his mind on who and who he will choose for the big task.

“All the players need to do to make the AFCON team is to be in good health, continue scoring or assisting in scoring goals and play to my tactics and philosophy. Those of them who have played under me know what I want from them and if they can give it on the pitch, why not? They will be on the flight to South Africa.

“Together with other members of the technical crew, we shall pick good strikers, midfielders, defenders and goalkeepers who would deliver the goods in South Africa. Nigerians should just believe in us, encourage and pray for us so that we can have a good championship,” he added.
