Grammy award-winning artist, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, declared that he had lied in courtrooms and police stations.
The self-acclaimed ‘African Giant’ acknowledged that he had been making false statements in both courtrooms and police stations on numerous occasions.
He made this known through story on his official Instagram page, proudly underscoring his reputation for being straightforward and forthright as the ‘African Giant.‘
The ‘Last Last’ crooner explained that his motivation for uttering untruths in legal settings and law enforcement agencies originates from his strong aversion to losing a case to someone he holds unfavorable sentiments toward.
The artist went on to express his equal disapproval for individuals who do not harbor positive feelings towards him or his persona, which leads to his untruthfulness in court proceedings.
“The only times I ever lied was in courtrooms and police stations. If you don’t like me, I don’t like you more than you don’t like me. You can’t win.” he said.
