The House of Representatives aspirant under the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Ibadan South East and North East Federal Constituency, Dr Kazeem Adesina Abidikugu, popularly known as KSO, has solicited the support of the party members ahead of today’s primary.
Abidikugu, a grassroots mobilizer, philanthropist, and people-oriented leader also promised to provide purposeful representation for the people of the constituency.
Abidikugu made the appealed on Wednesday during his visit to the weekly meeting of ADC in Ibadan North East local government held at Saint Cyprian primary school, Oke-Adu, Ibadan.
It could be recalled that on Tuesday he also visited the meeting of ADC in Ibadan south east local government held at IMG primary school, Alake, Eleta, Ibadan.
Abidikugu, a renowned Nigerian United Kingdom based psychiatric consultant while addressing the party members, leaders and stakeholders, urged them to give him their overwhelming support on Thursday primary to emerge as the candidate of the party in Ibadan south east and north east federal constituency.
According to Abidikugu, who is the Agba-Akin Bobajiro of Ibadanland , “If I am elected, I am going to bring about purposeful representation, for a long time our people have been neglected. So I am bringing a purposeful representation anchored on credibility, competence, compassion and unwavering concerns for the people.
“This is not just about politics, it is about my passion, vision and resolution to bring about purposeful development to my constituency. Purposeful developments in the area of healthcare, poverty alleviation, sustainable development and to reduce the level of poverty which is too high in the country right now.
“Nigeria is currently in a bad state. Inflation rate is very high and the people that are representing us in Abuja are not focussing on the appropriate laws to really help the people.
“So my intention when elected is to bring about more purposeful representation”
“I’m calling on all of you, my leaders, my supporters and the stakeholders in the Ibadan North East/ South East Federal Constituency, youths, women and all lovers of good governance to rally round me and see this project as your own project.
“Collectively we will bring about the desire developments to reduce the level of poverty not only in our constituency but the state and country as a whole and I’m promising you a purposeful future for the youths of our constituency”.
