“If you marry the modern way like on Facebook, you may likely divorce the modern way. Marry traditionally and involve God.” Marriages contracted through social media may not last. That’s the words of advice coming from the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, at the wedding of President Goodluck Jonathan’s foster daughter, Faith, and her husband, Godswill, in Abuja at the weekend.
The success or failure of any marriage rests on the husband Adeboye added.
He also appealed to the mothers-in-law to avoid interfering in the life of the new couple.
