I’m Minding My Business, Please Handle Yours – Banky W Replies Samklef
Nigerian singer Bankole Wellington, better known as Banky W, has responded to his colleague in the industry, Samuel Oguachuba, also known as Samklef, after the latter called him out on Twitter over an alleged unpaid royalties.
The singer cum politician stated that the royalties Samklef wants has never been collected by him or his record label.
“I don’t think you understand that my name is not there and was NEVER there. EME’s name is not there. We have never taken a dime of these royalties and never will. We have never controlled them. You need to take this up with whoever is controlling this and for goodness sake, stop talking about me. I’m not the one in charge. I’m minding my business, please handle yours.”
His response is coming after the music producer called him out and accused him of taking royalties for Ayo Balogun, aka Wizkid’s album, Superstar.
He stated that he is claiming the 11 years old royalties from Wizkid’s album which belongs to him.
