Inside Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola’s Lavish $15M Continental Wedding

Afrobeats sensation Mr Eazi and fashion mogul Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, recently celebrated their extravagant three-part wedding across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland. This global event reportedly cost an estimated $15 million, according to TheCable Lifestyle.
The couple, who began dating in 2017, made headlines for their intimate yet opulent wedding festivities, which took place across three months in 2025, culminating eight years of romance with deeply personal and culturally rich ceremonies.

The wedding journey began on May 29, 2025, with a minimalist civil ceremony in Monaco, held at the Marie de Monaco town hall. The date was chosen in honour of what would have been Mr Eazi’s late mother’s 61st birthday.
The ceremony was attended by just four people — the couple, Temi’s assistant, and Eazi’s close friend — underscoring the intimacy of the moment. Temi wore a tailored white Wiederhoeft suit, paired with understated makeup by Harold James, while Mr Eazi donned a custom Louis Vuitton ensemble.

Speaking to Vogue, Temi said the couple chose Monaco because it is “a place we partly call home.” She added, “We’ve been engaged for three years and together for eight, so we had this weirdly calm energy all day. It just made sense.”
On July 5, the celebrations moved to the Otedola family villa in the upscale Dubai Hills Estate, where the couple hosted a colourful traditional Yoruba engagement ceremony with a contemporary twist.

Temi stunned in a variety of luxury looks, including pieces by Zac Posen, Miss Sohee, and Lisa Folawiyo, the latter incorporating akwa ocha fabric as a tribute to Mr Eazi’s heritage. The groom, styled by celebrity fashion director Jason Rembert, wore Afro-fusion attire that bridged modern elegance and cultural symbolism.
The guest list featured major figures from Africa’s business and tech scenes, including Aliko Dangote, Abdul Samad Rabiu, Shola Akinlade, and Iyinoluwa Aboyeji. Music icon King Sunny Ade performed for the select crowd of fewer than 80 guests.

Temi reflected on the emotional weight of the moment:
“In Nigerian traditional ceremonies, you sit and dress according to the family you’re representing… Sitting with my parents for what is symbolically the last time before they send me to my new family particularly hit home for me.”
The wedding’s grand finale took place on August 8 in Iceland, where the couple exchanged vows at the stunning Hallgrímskirkja Cathedral in Reykjavík.

Temi walked down the aisle in a custom Fendi wedding gown, adorned with Briony Raymond jewelry. She later changed into a House of Giles piece for the reception. Mr Eazi wore Saint Laurent for the ceremony, switching to Alexander McQueen for the evening events.
The white wedding featured a live performance by John Legend, who serenaded Temi and her father during the father-daughter dance, followed by a dinner soundtracked by renowned French pianist Sofiane Pamart.

Temi dazzled in a shimmering Ludovic de Saint Sernin outfit for the after-party, while Mr Eazi wore a standout Louis Vuitton runway vest.
The festivities concluded with a magical farewell at the Hamsvik Hot Springs, where guests enjoyed a night swim beneath the Arctic sky.
Reflecting on their uniquely curated celebration, Temi described their approach as a
blend of heritage and individuality.

“Eazi and I have always been unconventional,” she said. “All throughout we honoured our rich culture but made sure everything felt like us.”
With a celebration that spanned continents and showcased a fusion of cultures, fashion, and heartfelt moments, the Mr Eazi–Temi Otedola wedding sets a new benchmark for celebrity nuptials on the African continent.
