iPhone 5 Hits 5Million Sales in Less Than 72hours After Launch
Apple announced early this week that 5 million of its iPhone 5s were sold in the first weekend, setting a world record on sales. The phone, which has a larger 4-inch screen, faster processor and LTE data transmission, went on sale online since Sept. 12.
“While we have sold out of our initial supply, stores continue to receive iPhone 5 shipments regularly and customers can continue to order online and receive an estimated delivery date,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said.
