IPOB Factional Leader, Simon Ekpa, Arrested In Finland Over Stay-at-Home Order

The factional leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra,  IPOB, Simon Ekpa, has been arrested by the authorities in Finland.

Prior to his arrest, the Finish authority had in a letter issued a warning that he should in 48 hours reverse the order he gave to his IPOB faction to disrupt the 2023 election in Biafraland, which he said covers the whole of the Niger Delta area.

Simon Ekpa however denigrated the warning issued, saying the Finish authority did not issue any letter and he tagged the letter fake.

Simon Ekpa was arrested by Interpol less than 48 hours before the general election even as his group has continued to unleash violence in the Southeast.

His arrest comes as President Muhammadu Buhari in a broadcast vowed to bequeath to Nigeria a free, fair and violent free election warning trouble makers to stay away during the election.

He has also advised Nigerians to go out and vote peacefully in exercise of their civic duty and that everything will be done to ensure they vote in peace.
