Kelly Rowland, Darey Art-Alade Thrill Audience at Etisalat-Sponsored Love Like A Movie Concert

 On Saturday, February 15th Nigerian R&B singer Darey Art-Alade delivered the second edition of his “Love Like A Movie” concert at the Ocean View grounds, Victoria Island, Lagos. The show which was proudly sponsored by most innovative telecommunications company, Etisalat Nigeria, was headlined by American music superstar, Kelly Rowland.
The show which was tagged ‘Love Roller-Coaster’ lived up to its billing with mid-air manoeuvres, choreography, pyrotechnic displays and world-class performances by Nigerian artistes including Waje, Timi Dakolo, Zaina and Eva Alordiah. Guests at the event were taken to a whole new level in entertainment with the live music production.
Etisalat’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Willsher while speaking at the event said the concert had a lot in common with Etisalat in terms of its innovative approach. “What stands us out as a telecommunications company is our unique ways of doing things. What we witnessed here tonight shows that Love Like A Movie shares that same innovative attribute in terms of its production and performances,” he said. Willsher also said Etisalat is committed to supporting initiatives that resonate with the passions of its customers.
The diva of the night, Kelly Rowland, on her red carpet appearance stood out in her embellished Ankara outfit while on stage, she opted for a satin print crop top and pants. She opened her performance with her 2002 hit song “Dilemma” followed by her other hit tracks. She then took the audience back in time with a medley of some hit singles of her former girl-group, Destiny’s Child.
The show was put together as an emotional story of love with its different interpretations. The man of the night, Darey Art-Alade opened the show with his grand entrance 50 feet above the stage in a glistening silver box singing ‘Kiss From a Rose’, a song by R&B and soul singer, Seal.
