It was a time to celebrate Nigerian police yesterday in my church. As they display their full professionalism and try to rewrite the story of police we know. What comes to one’s mind is why one should celebrate them?
You are right, but I am very sure this story will shock you.
Yesterday in church, two ladies on different occasions came out to testify on how Nigerian police quick response saves them.
The first lady narrated how a group of armed robbery came to their apartment when they were not around and get away all their belongings including their television set and they are left with nothing. Again, another armed robber came to their apartment just months later, but this time around they lady was able to reach police tow free line 767. According to her, the police response to her calls in less than 10minutes and they began to blow their siren. Even though they were unable to get the armed robber but it was a quick response from Nigerian police.
Another lady also testify, when she sighted a jeep behind her with about four men inside and quickly turn back to report the case to a nearby police station, the Nigerian police also respond quickly and arrest the situations. Two police men escorted her home and promise to check her every morning and they did for about 7days.
I think they are worth celebrating.
