Labor Union Protests Outside Heritage Bank Over Dismissal of 1,000 Support Workers
Labour union on Thursday protested at the headquarters of the Heritage Bank at Victoria Island in Lagos, over the sack of 1, 000 support workers of the bank.
The National President of the National Union of Banks, Insurance and Financial Institutions Employees, Comrade Anthony Abakpa, during the protest, said the leadership of the bank did not follow due process before taking action.
Channels Television reports that the union vowed to intensify its demands for justice, calling on the bank’s management to do the needful.
