The Lagos State House of Assembly on Thursday passed the Value Added Tax Bill and the bill that prohibits Open grazing in the state.
The bills had passed first and second readings at the House on Monday, while the committee on finance was asked to report back by today, Thursday.
On Wednesday, the committee held public hearing on the bills and by Thursday, the bills were passed at the parliament.
The Speaker of the House, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, directed the Acting Clerk of the House, Mr. Olalekan Onafeko, to transmit copies of the bills to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The two bills were passed after they were read the third time at the floor of the House and after unanimous votes by the lawmakers at the sitting.
