
Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and former factional PDP National Chairman Taminu Turaki were among the prominent figures who gathered on Wednesday at the Abuja residence of former Senate President Dr. David Mark, joining ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, and other notable attendees for a strategic meeting.
The de-recognised leadership of the ADC, had staged a protest to the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The meeting at Mark’s residence, shortly after the protest, also had in attendance the Leader of the Kwankwashiya Movement, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso; a former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi; a former Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal; and a former Governor of Niger State, Dr. Babangida Aliyu.
Also at the meeting were a former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; a former Minister of Information, Jerry Gana; and a former National Secretary of the PDP, Taofeek Arapaja.
