
Taiwo Awoniyi entered the game as a substitute but couldn’t prevent Nottingham Forest from falling to a 3-2 defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The Nigerian international replaced Chris Wood with 20 minutes left to play.
It was Awoniyi’s 16th Premier League appearance of the season for the Tricky Trees, with the forward recording four goals and one assist so far this campaign.
Luke Shaw opened the scoring for Manchester United after five minutes, but Morato levelled for Forest eight minutes into the second half.
United restored their advantage two minutes later through Matheus Cunha, before Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo added a third in the 76th minute.
Morgan Gibbs-White pulled one back for Nottingham Forest two minutes later, but the visitors were unable to complete the comeback.
