The MLS club, Inter Miami beat Nashville on penalties to win the League cup.

Inter Miami goalkeeper Drake Callender turned out to be the hero as he scored the final kick for Inter Miami and saved from Nashville’s Elliot Panicco.

The victory means that Messi now holds the record for the most decorated player in the history of football.

Messi was tied with his former Barcelona teammate Dani Alves on 43 trophies in their football career.

However, following Inter Miami’s League Cup victory, Messi now has 44 trophies and is the most decorated player in the history of the sport.
