MOHBAD: Omoyele Sowore Drags Police Over The Artist’s Death

The presidential aspirant of African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore has dragged the Nigerian Police Force over the death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
The human rights activist advised Nigerians seeking justice for Mohbad not to unquestioningly accept the police’s reassurances.
The police issued a statement expressing condolences to Mohbad’s family, friends, and supporters.
They also assured Nigerians of their commitment to conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances of his passing.
However, Sowore Omoyele‘s caution not to place complete trust in the police’s investigations suggests that he may not be entirely satisfied with the assurances provided.
He said: “If anyone believes that @PoliceNG will carry out any investigation talk less of “diligent” investigation on this matter when the culprits are their minions and partners in crime, then I am sorry for you.
“You should go and ask the family of the late Attorney General, Bola Ige, they will tell you what the Nigerian police meant by ‘diligent investigation’.”
