Ex-International and former Super Eagles player, Mutiu Adepoju who assume the position of General Manager of Shooting Stars of Ibadan after he resigned from playing football has quit his position as Manager of the club.
He resigned his position yesterday and according to the gist circulating; Adepoju will be leaving the country for Spain tomorrow, Thursday to attend a two-week UEFA Pro Licence course in order to re-validate his licence.
According to the report Adepoju was asked to re-apply for a new contract after the expiration of his contract with the club. Adepoju was quoted saying “it was a move by the board to pass down their message that his services were no longer required by the board and rather than be ridiculed, he decided to resign his position as manager of the club.
