Naija Food Fiesta Debuts, Exhibition Holds in April in Lagos
The first ever Nigerian Foods and Drinks Exhibition tagged ‘Naija Food Fiesta’ is set to debut in the fast growing Fair & Exhibitions segment of the Nigerian business circle.
The project which is being packaged by ARESVEEPEE Limited, an event management company that specializes in organising corporate and social events in conjunction with Keskese Limited, one of Nigeria’s leading agencies in experiential marketing and brand activations is scheduled to hold Lagos between Thursday, April 24th & Sunday, April 27th, 2014 at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS),Lagos.
According to the Managing Director, ARESVEEPEE Limited, Miss Kemi Koyejo, the Nigerian Foods and Drinks Exhibition is dedicated to promoting various kinds of foods, beverages, confectionaries, condiments, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from the six (6) geo-political zones in Nigeria with a view to growing the immense potentials of the sector.
Speaking at a Press Conference held on Monday March 3, 2014 in Lagos to announce the plans for the inaugural edition of the exhibition, Koyejo disclosed that the participation at the exhibition is opened to manufacturers of various kinds of foods, beverages, confectionaries, condiments, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from the six (6) geo-political zones in Nigeria as well as providers of food and drinks processing machines, and government parastatals.
She noted that the ‘Naija Food Fiesta’ offers unique and huge marketing opportunities to exhibitors as it provides them an excellent platform for showcasing and growing their businesses through massive brand awareness and brand visibility with consumers.
Speaking on the details of the four days exhibition, she explained that the Opening Ceremony will be held on Thursday April 24, exhibition starts same day to end on Sunday April 27 with a closing ceremony and presentation of certificates.
She further declared that there would be the exhibition of Foods and Drinks as well as Food Machine showcase. She added that there will be Nutrition Talk to educate audience on the importance of diets for healthy living while there will entertainment side attraction in form of comedy, music and kiddies corner.
‘’One of the major highlight of the exhibition is that that there will be set up of the longest dining table in Nigeria that can sit at least 100 guest to set in the middle of the exhibition centre. There will also be the production of cookery book containing various Nigerian dishes and the eating and drinking competition.
