National Assembly Finalizes Preparations For Tinubu’s Presentation Of 2025 Appropriation Bill

Ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s presentation of the 2025 Appropriation Bill to the joint session of the National Assembly, the management team led by Clerk to the National Assembly, Sani Magaji Tambawal, has intensified efforts to ensure all logistical and technical arrangements are flawless.

Preparations are in high gear, with a comprehensive inspection of the chamber being conducted to ensure that all facilities are fully functional. 

The team is leaving no stone unturned in readiness for this significant event in Nigeria’s democratic calendar.

Led by Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana, the management team has been diligently testing sound systems, microphones, and other essential audio-visual equipment to guarantee seamless communication during the President’s address.

Seating arrangements are also being meticulously organized to accommodate Senators, House of Representatives members, and other dignitaries expected to attend the session.

In collaboration with relevant security agencies, measures are being reviewed to ensure the safety of all attendees and maintain order throughout the event. 

Additionally, press accreditation is being carefully managed to provide smooth coverage of the proceedings.

Deputy Clerk Ogunlana assured Nigerians that every detail is being carefully considered.

“We are working tirelessly to ensure that the National Assembly is fully prepared to receive Mr. President and provide a conducive environment for this significant moment in our democratic process,” Ogunlana stated.

The session promises to be one of the highlights of the legislative calendar, reflecting the commitment of the National Assembly to uphold Nigeria’s democratic values.
