The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, in Ogun State have arrested four agents of a political party whose identity was not revealed for vote buying.
The development was revealed in a statement by the NDLEA on its social media handle.
In the statement in the early hours of Saturday, the NDLEA said it intercepted the party agents with hundreds of money credit cards to buy votes at Ibara Housing Estate in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
They were nabbed as the process for voting in the Governorship and House of Assembly polls started.
The statement said each card contained N10,000 and can be activated with a code.
The Chairman of the NDLEA, retired Brigadier General Buba Marwa, has directed that the arrested agents be handed over to the police after proper documentation.
