The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday 20, May 2020 announced two hundred and eighty-four (284) new cases of coronavirus also known as COVID-19 in the country.
Of the new cases, 199 were reported in Lagos, 26 in Rivers, 19 in Oyo, 8 in FCT, 8 in Borno, 7 in Plateau, 6 in Jigawa, 5 in Kano, 2 in Abia, 1 in Ekiti, 1 in Delta, 1 in Kwara and 1 in Taraba State.

As at Wednesday 20, May 2020, there are 6,677cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria, 1,840 patients have been discharged and total number of 200 deaths recorded.
On the 18th of May, 8 new cases in Zamfara were erroneously announced— NCDC (@NCDCgov) May 20, 2020
Therefore, as at the 20th of May 2020, Zamfara has recorded a total of 76 confirmed cases
