Ivory And Ebony Mega Sports Concept Limited has successfully concluded the fourth edition of its scouting event aimed at discovering and promoting African football talents.
The initiative, according to the founder of the outfit, Amadi Saint-Cornel, is dedicated to creating opportunities for young African players, and to reshape the future of football in the region.
The event, which was witnessed by Damnjan Jorgic, the Head of Scouting for European club, FK Radnicki and Mujo Cetin, also of Radnik Bijeljina, brought together teams from Northern and Eastern Nigeria.
Speaking about the mission of the scouting program, Saint-Cornel, a FIFA-licensed football agent, said; “Our aim is to help talented African football players secure contracts in Europe. While we strive for the growth of football here in Nigeria, we recognize that Europe offers the limelight, glory, and financial stability these players deserve. This event serves as a platform to discover future stars and connect them to opportunities abroad.”

Speaking further, he noted that the event this year achieved remarkable success as Scouts from multiple European clubs attended, with some observing live streams due to travel challenges.
He further revealed that five players were selected on-site, with more under review through video analysis as discussions with European clubs focused on nurturing young players under 18 by integrating them into academies for structured development are ongoing.
On the outcome of the programme, Jorgic from FK Radnicki noted that young players from Nigeria have the potential to become very successful in Europe.
In addition to the raw passion displayed by the players, he said, the potential player needs to possess the right speed, intensity, strength and tactical skills.
“For us it’s very important that players can think fast, and play fast. We are looking for someone that can use his brain very fast. The right mentality is also very important for us but the most important are the player’s tactical skills,” he said.
Also speaking, Cetin from Radnik Bijeljina, stated that grooming young players from Nigeria will have a huge impact on European teams and the league .
“In the Balkans, we often struggle with pace and quickness in our players, but Nigerian talents excel in these areas. They are fast, strong, and physically dynamic, which is exactly what our team and league need to grow and compete effectively.”
