No Room For Hijackers In Ogun NNPP, Says  Comrade Oginni

Oginni made this known in a statement he personally signed and made available to Lagos Post Online on Thursday.

He said; I, Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday in my capacity as the Ogun State Chairman of NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE’S PARTY instituted the case at Federal High Court Abeokuta as Plaintiff.

Oginnin added that “the Court in a clear time ruled That it cannot adjudicate on the matter because it’s not a pre-election matter.  The Learned Judge unequivocally directed that the disputes are clearly a ” family matter” and that the internal mechanism of crisis resolution within Our Party should be exhausted before resulting in Court for Adjudication”!

However, some mischievous elements whose desperation are to highjack The Leadership of Ogun State NNPP went on rampage spreading fake news.  

It’s on record that the former Gubernatorial Candidate of NNPP in Ogun State Mr. Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has been failing repeatedly and continuously in his desperation to highjack The Leadership of the Party.

Going the Memory lane, Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo’s effort to highjack The PETITION PET /OG/GOV/01/2023 filled by Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday on behalf of Ogun State NNPP Executive Council failed at the Tribunal. 

In Oguntoyinbo’s character of desperation, he approached the Court of Appeal sitting at Ibadan to upturn the decision of The Ogun State Governorship Election Tribunal that Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday and The Ogun State Executive Council with their Counsel Peter Ogah are the custodian of NNPP in Ogun State and consequently The OWNER of The Petition.

In his desperate move, Oguntoyinbo hired a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and Nzuya Nzuya Law firm to help him prosecute the Appeal. 

On the 4th of July, 2023, Oguntoyinbo and his co-travellers in their ill-fated Political Journey suffered monumental defeat at The Appeal Court Ibadan, and his Appeal to upturn the decision of The Ogun State Governorship Tribunal Judgement was dismissed for being grossly incompetent and lack of merits.

The Ogun State Chapter of NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE’S PARTY under The Leadership of Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday waited for Oguntoyinbo and his co-travellers in their Political misadventures to approach The Supreme Court but they failed woefully having been ruled out of time. 

In the point of Law and Constitutional democracy, so far the judgments of the lower court and that of the Appeal Court are not upturned by Supreme Court, the Judgement Subsists.

Any attempt by any money-missed road politician to hijack The structure of NNPP in Ogun State shall continue to meet with Waterloo.

Ordinarily, The Ogun State Chairman of NNPP, Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday wouldn’t have appealed the Judgement of the Federal High Court because there’s no Pronouncement but recognizing the level of illiteracy and desperation of Oguntoyinbo and his co-travelers, Ogun NNPP under the Leadership of Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday filled A NOTICE OF APPEAL to set the record straight.

The Ogun State Executive Council hereby calls on Oguntoyinbo to take a deep breath and come to think about his continue and perpetual failures in his desperation to highjack The Leadership of Ogun NNPP.  

Ogun NNPP is in a very safe Hand. There’s no room for Highjackers.
