Activities marking her final journey began on Thursday with a service of songs held at the Blueroof Auditorium of Lagos State Television in Ikeja. The emotional gathering brought together members of the creative community to honour her life, work, and lasting influence.

After the indoor programme, mourners took part in a candlelight walk, offering a public moment of reflection and tribute in her memory.

Her burial ceremony and final interment were conducted on Friday at the Atan Cemetery in Yaba, Lagos. At the graveside, prayers and hymns were led by clergymen, while relatives stepped forward one after the other to cast sand on the coffin in a final act of farewell.

Several notable Nollywood personalities were present to support the family, including Toyin Abraham, Afeez Owo, Saidi Balogun, Yetunde Wunmi, and Adedoyin Kukoyi.

Allwell Ademola was widely regarded as a multi-talented force in Nollywood, known not only for her acting skills but also for her work as a writer and director. Although she developed an interest in acting early in life, she gained wider recognition as a professional actress in 2008.

Her film credits include Ile Wa, Third Eye, Murder At The Bar, and Mimi’s Voice, productions that cemented her place in the Nigerian film industry.
