Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe is in mourning after the death of her mother.

The actress announced her mother’s passing on Wednesday via an Instagram post. The post featured a candlelight image against a broken-heart background, captioned: “R.I.P Mum.”

Although she did not reveal the circumstances or the exact date of her mother’s passing, Aigbe has often spoken about the profound influence her mother had on her life.

She previously credited her for instilling values of sacrifice, strength, and selflessness, while also expressing gratitude for her unwavering guidance and support.
