Nottingham Forest have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign highly rated youngster Donnell McNeilly on a permanent transfer.
This was revealed in a post by the popular Sports Analyst, Fabrizio Romano, on X formerly Twitter on Monday.
The promising forward, who has been making waves at youth level, is set to continue his development away from the City Ground as part of the club’s long-term plans.
Immediately after finalizing the move, Forest confirmed that McNeilly will spend the 2025/26 season on loan at Wycombe Wanderers, where he is expected to gain valuable first-team experience.

For McNeilly, the move presents a big opportunity to showcase his skills in senior football, while Wycombe benefit from the addition of a young, hungry attacker.
Chelsea, meanwhile, continue to restructure their youth setup, allowing players like McNeilly to pursue career-defining opportunities elsewhere. Forest fans will now be keeping a close eye on his progress at Wycombe, hoping he returns ready to make an impact in the Premier League.
