Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade, known on stage as Asake made history by becoming the first YBNL artist to sell out the O2 Arena in London.
That wasn’t even all, to think that Asake achieved this within 2 years of fame, is amazing. The concert was a huge success, with fans packing the venue to sing along to Asake’s hits.
Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Friday, Lil Kesh, Shallipopi, among others are present to show love to Asake at the 02 arena.
Another notable artist in attendance at the concert was Fireboy DML, who is signed to the same record label as Asake.
Fireboy’s presence at the concert sparked a lot of reactions from fans, with some wondering how he felt about seeing Asake sell out the O2 before him.
“I wonder how Fireboy is feeling to see Asake sell out the 02 before him, despite being signed in the same label 3 years ago,” a fan tweeted.
“Fireboy is a true artist,” the fan said. “He’s always happy to see his peers succeed, but I’m sure he’s also motivated to do even better.” another fan tweeted.
Whatever Fireboy’s feelings were, there’s no doubt that he was impressed by Asake’s performance.
Fireboy took to his Twitter page to congratulate Asake and to praise his talent after the concert.
“Asake is a star, He’s going to do big things.” Fireboy tweeted
Asake’s sold-out concert at the O2 Arena is a major milestone for him and for the Nigerian music industry.
It’s a testament to his talent and his hard work, and it’s sure to open up even more doors for him in the future.
As for Fireboy, he’s no doubt taking notes and getting ready to level up his own career.
