Nigeria Super Eagles and Watford FC Striker Odion Ighalo has won himself the bragging rights as the top scorer in England for 2015 after scoring 30 goals in 75 games in all competition this year.
Ighalo’s 41st minute strike at Vicarage road on Monday, December 28, took his tally this year to 30 goals, making him the highest goal scorer in England’s top tiers in 2015.
Although his team, Watford went down 2-1 to Tottenham Hotspurs, Ighalo is on a red-hot streak, scoring in all six of his latest Premier League games, including a brace at home to Liverpool and a deflected effort against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
He is the first ever Watford player to score in six consecutive English top flight games.
