Odumodublvck Signs Deal With American Music Record Label Def Jam
Nigerian uprising rapper, Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has officially signed a deal with a renowned American multinational record label, Def Jam Recordings, on Thursday, September 14.
The inking event which took place at Def Jam’s corporate office in New York, was marked by lively conversations with fellow associates.
The self-acclaimed ‘Big Kala’, a member of the hip-hop collective Anti World Gangstars, spoke passionately in a viral video about the influence of legendary hip-hop figures like 2pac, DMX, and 50 Cent on his musical journey.
He then shared how he composed elements of 50 Cent’s distinctive style into his own music and how embracing 50 Cent’s G-Unit concept led to the formation of his cherished, robust team, eliciting hearty laughter from the audience.
This signing places the ‘Declan Rice‘ crooner in the ranks of international superstars affiliated with the Def Jam label.
Odumodublvck is now on the roster of the record label artists that includes luminaries like Rihanna, DJ Khaled, and Justin Bieber.
Nigerian High Life sensation, Adekunle Gold, also known as AG Baby, also signed with the prestigious music label earlier this year.
