Ooni Of Ife Marries Top Management Executive From Kogi State

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi; (Ọjájá II) haw married a new wife, Mariam Anako, who is a top management executive (Administrative Manager) of Nestoil Limited, Nigeria’s largest indigenous Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) Company in the oil and gas sector.
The traditional wedding, reportedly, took place at the palace.
The bride in company of her family and friends dressed in the popular HOH lace attire all looking glamorous stormed the palace in grand style for the wedding ceremony.
The bride was given the necessary traditional rites with the popular pouring of camwood (Osun) reddish substance on her legs which will officially usher her into the palace as a bride.
The bride comes from a very influential family in Kogi State. Her elder sister, Medinat Anako is a lawyer, businesswoman and also Special Adviser on Intergovernmental Affairs and Kogi State Diaspora Focal Point Officer (DFPO) to Governor Yahaya Bello.
While another elder sister of hers, Mrs Raliat Abdulrahman nee Anako is a Special Adviser to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
The union is coming after Ooni’s former wife, Olori Naomi Shilekunola publicly called their union off on social media.
