Senator Adams Oshiomhole, a lawmaker representing Edo North, has predicted President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2027 elections.
Oshiomhole, who spoke on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, stated that Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, either collectively or individually, stand no chance against Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The former Edo State Governor boasted that the APC had defeated Atiku and Obi in previous elections when they ran together and when they contested individually. The 2027 elections won’t produce a different result.
He said: “Did Atiku and Obi not run together before and contest against the APC? You can throw any number you want to throw but the point is that when these two ran together, they were loudly defeated by APC. So why are you suggesting if the two, when they did before, what happened?
“You are the one who is recycling history. They have a history of being defeated together, and they have a history of being defeated apart. They ran together. They were defeated. They ran separately, they were defeated. If they come back together, very good. They will still be defeated.”
