
The Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has reinstated Taiwo Olatunbosun as Commissioner for Information.
This comes barely a week after he dissolved the state executive council.
The reappointment was confirmed in Ado-Ekiti through a statement issued by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, on Tuesday.
The letter which was signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Habaibat Adubiaro, Olatunbosun is to resume duty immediately.
The governor had earlier dissolved his cabinet on August 11, instructing commissioners and special advisers to hand over responsibilities to permanent secretaries or senior civil servants in their ministries, departments and agencies.

However, six commissioners, including those in charge of Finance, Works and Human Capital Development, were retained to maintain continuity in vital sectors.
Governor Oyebanji explained at the time that the dissolution was necessary to inject new energy into governance while staying committed to his agenda of shared prosperity for the state.
