PDP Guber Aspirant, Ajadi Commiserates With Govt, Victims’ Families Of Ibadan Accident

The leading People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Governorship Aspirant in Oyo State, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has commiserated with the victims and families of those who lost their lives in the road accident that occurred in Ibadan on Tuesday.

Ajadi also commiserates with the state government over the loss of lives during the accident. He prays that such bad occurrence will not happen again.

About Six people, including a motorcyclist, were killed on Tuesday when a trailer carrying 45,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit lost control and ran over several tricycles in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. Several others sustained varying degrees of injuries.

Findings revealed that the accident occurred at the Fruits Market along the Oje-Beere route in Ibadan.

Ajadi in a statement he personally signed on Wednesday to console the loss of souls and people who were seriously injured in the accident said the loss is difficult to bear few days after the celebration of Eid- el- Fitri.

He commended the prompt response of security and rescuing officials at the spot of the accident.

He pray to God to repose the soul of the dead and to give speedy recovery to those who are injured and are receiving treatments in the hospital.

Ajadi said it is sad that despite the effort of the state and local governments to prevent street trading in the state, the accident also exposed the people’s disobedient to the directive.

He called on the state government not to relax its efforts at stopping Street trading, saying it is sad that most of the victims are people buying and selling on the streets.
