PDP Publishes Disclaimer on Wike, Anyanwu, Fayose and Several Others

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), under the leadership of Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, has issued a public warning advising against engagement with specific individuals who have been expelled from the party.

The Party in a statement on Thursday, signed by Turaki, listed Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose and nine others as people who are no longer members of the PDP or hold any office in the party as they have been expelled.

The statement warned that any dealings with the listed persons are at great risk as such is not authorised by the PDP.

Turaki listed Ezenwo Wike, Samuel Anyanwu, Ayo Fayose, Umar Bature, Kamaldeen Ajibade, Mao Ohuabunwa, George Turnah, Dan Orbih, Austin Nwachukwu, Mon’d Abdulrahman, and Abraham Amah as expelled members of the PDP.

The disclaimer reads, “This is to inform the general public that the following individuals whose pictures and names appear below are no longer members of the People Democratic Party (PDP), nor hold any office in the Party, having been expelled from the Party at the Year 2025 Elective National Convention held on the 15th – 16th November, 2025 at Ibadan, Oyo State in accordance with the Constitution of our Party (as amended):

2. Samuel Anyanwu
3. Ayo Fayose
4. Umar Bature
5. Kamaldeen Ajibade
6. Mao Ohuabunwa
7. George Turnah
8. Dan Orbih
9. Austin Nwachukwu
10. Mon’d Abdulrahman
11. Abraham Amah

“Any interactions or representations made by these expelled members are not authorized by our great Party.

“Therefore, members of the public dealing with these individuals are doing so at their own peril.”

The disclaimer follows an earlier statement from the PDP faction loyal to Wike, which reaffirmed the expulsion of some members of the party.

The faction, in a statement released through its National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, on Wednesday, warned the public to beware of impostors still parading themselves as party members.

According to the statement, the affected individuals were expelled by the National Executive Committee on November 18 for alleged anti-party activities and gross misconduct, in accordance with the amended 2017 PDP Constitution.
