The former Rivers State Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi has been confirmed as minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by the upper arm of the National Assembly, the Senate.
The screening of Amaechi was postponed for about two times before he was eventually screened on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the People Democratic Party (PDP) senators walked out in protest of his confirmation.
