Police Arrest Two Kwara Poly Female Students For Murder Of A Club Owner

Two female students of Kwara State Polytechnic, identified as Joy Joseph and Oreoluwa Davies have been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) for robbery and murder of a club owner and socialite, Adeniyi Ojo.

The NPF Public Relation Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, while parading the suspects in Abuja, said Police operatives apprehended Adama and Favour on 6th of October, 2023.

“Through meticulous investigative work, our officers were able to track and apprehend these suspects in Mowe Ibafo, Ogun State.

“In a tragic incident, the duo tied the deceased under the guise of having a sex rump and demanded money from him. But when he was not forthcoming, they resorted to drugging and suffocating him, leading to his untimely demise,” the PRO stated.

The deceased, Mr. Adeniyi Ojo, who was the son of Chief Emmanuel Ojo, a prominent figure in Ilorin, Kwara State, owned a club in the state.

One of the suspects, Adama, while speaking to journalists, said she had been in sexual relationship with the deceased but on the day he was killed, they went with the intention to steal from him.

She explained further that they drugged him when he wasn’t succumbing and left with his phone and other valuables only to discover that he had died later.
