Nigeria Police Force operatives have successfully rescued Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, a sister of former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu, along with her 12-year-old twin boys, Peter and Paul.
They were rescued at about 7:30pm on Saturday in a heavy gun duel with their abductors, The Eagle Online reports.
Sources told news outlets, including Channels TV and African Independent Television (AIT), that no fewer than two of the kidnappers were neutralised, while others escaped with gunshot wounds.
John-Paul and her twins were kidnapped on June 3, 2026, around 7:30am while she was driving them to school.
