Portable Confirms ₦40m Agreement for Showdown with Carter Efe

Nigerian singer Portable has revealed that he was paid ₦40 million to take on well-known streamer Carter Efe in a boxing match.

In an Instagram post, the singer revealed that the organisers had paid the amount as a signing fee, expressing his belief that he will come out on top in the highly anticipated bout.

He further revealed that businessman E-Money and music producer Soso Soberekon have each pledged ₦50 million and additional rewards if he wins the fight.

“I have collected ₦40 million from the organisers of the match to beat Carter Efe. They gave me the money just for agreeing to the fight. It is certain that I will beat him,” he said.

“E-Money and Soso Soberekon have also said they will give me ₦50 million each if I win the match, along with a car from E-Money.”

In a separate TikTok video, Carter Efe also confirmed his readiness for the bout after Soberekon informed him that the winner would pocket ₦50 million. He urged the organisers to announce a date, insisting he is fully prepared.

“Make them put date, I don ready,” he declared.

The upcoming clash adds to Portable’s growing list of celebrity boxing appearances. In April 2025, he defeated fellow entertainer Speed Darlington in a similar bout. He also recorded victories over actor Charles Okocha in December 2023 and Kelvin Power, the bodyguard of singer Kizz Daniel, in February 2024.

With both fighters publicly expressing confidence, anticipation continues to build ahead of what promises to be another high-profile celebrity boxing showdown.
