House of Representatives member, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, join members of the Abiola-Ajimobi family as they remember the late Governor on his posthumous birthday celebration today December 16th 2022.
Late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, a two-term former Governor of Oyo State and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, died in June 2020.
Remembering the former Governor, Rep. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, a cousin to the late Abiola-Ajimobi paid tribute to the politician on her social media handles.
Hailing Ajimobi as an exceptional politician, whose style of leadership has been vindicated, Tolulope noted that she missed his guidance, especially as a member of the House of Representatives.
In a post uploaded on Friday, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe said, “My Uncle, my Political Leader, my Mentor, blessed Post humus birthday to you. How we wish we could turn back the hand of the clock. But who are we. The Lord knows why. We miss you, we miss your intelligence, your forthrightness and the Love you had for Ibadanland and Oyo State as a whole. The vacuum created by your absence is glaring every day. Now that you are no longer here in person, those who choose to deny your impact have been proved wrong. History has vindicated you. Rest on in peace at the Bosom of the Lord”.
