President Muhammadu Buhari has once again met with governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.
The meeting was attended by Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Governors of Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode; Imo, Rochas Okorocha.
Other Governors in attendance Kano, Abdullahi Ganduje, Bauchi, Mohammed Abubakar, and Borno, Kashim Shettima.
While briefing journalists after the meeting, Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, said the APC governors met with the President to congratulate him on his emergence as the Presidential flag bearer of the party.
According to Okorocha, the governors pledged their support to the President by ensuring that victory is achieved, come 2019 general elections.
He explained that the 2019 election campaigns will focus on the achievements of the Buhari-led administration, adding that plans have been put in place to ensure aggrieved members of the APC return and resolve their existing differences.
